The Redhawks travel to Cincinnati to kick off the 2007 season against the Bearcats.

Cincinnati was 8-5 last year and winners of the International Bowl (the what bowl?) in Toronto, Canada.

Tony Samuel who was 4-7 in his first year with the Redhawks, will have a rookie quarterback starting the season no matter who he selects as his number one guy.

Junior college transfers Victor Anderson and Houston Lillard are still in a dead heat for the starting job which will be a game time decision.

Timmy Holloman returns as the featured back.  He’s been battling injuries, but still lead last year’s team with 653 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

A beefed up offensive line should create more holes for Holloman.  The O-line averages 6 foot 4 inches and 334 pounds.

Defensively, the Redhawks will be led by linebacker Adam Casper, who has been voted to the preseason all-Ohio Valley Conference team.
