Hockey in Kansas City’s new downtown arena got a shot in the arm. A group that wants to buy the Nashville Predators says if some changes in the lease with the city of Nashville are not made, the bid to buy the team will crumble. That’s good news for KC. If the Predators breach their lease of not coming up with an average of 14,000 fans this season, then KC becomes the prime candidate for the Predators new home.
