Mizzou Scrimmages On Saturday

August 20, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

The same day the Associated Press released their top 25 college football poll, the Missouri Tigers had their second scrimmage of the summer.  By the way, the Tigers came in at #26 and placed in the "others" category.

The offense scored ten touchdowns over the day.  Chase Daniel threw for 3 touchdown and 120 yards on 10-13 passing.  Chase Patton did well, connecting on 14-22 for 156 yards and 1 TD.  Running back Tony Temple had a touchdown on 8 carries with 44 yards.  Tight end Chase Coffman had seven receptions with one touchdown.

The Tigers will scrimmage one more time this Thursday, as the Tigers are less than two weeks away from their season opener in St. Louis against Illinois.
