The Chief are now 0-2 in the preseason following Thursday night’s 11-10 loss to Miami.

Starting quarterback Damon Huard, had ho-hum night at 3 of 5 passing for 26 yards.  He did connect on a third down conversion to Tony Gonzales, and got them into field goal range, but a missed 42 yarder kept the Chiefs off the board.

Brody Croyle looked sharp early hitting on his first four passes including a 21 yard touchdown pass to Chris Hannon, the first preseason TD pass the Chiefs have thrown since 2005.  He also made an ill-advised pass that was picked off deep in Dolphin territory, the second week he’s made that mistake.

It’s apparent the Chiefs offense is missing Larry Johnson.  Still no contract extension although both sides were confident something would get wrapped up this week.
