Investigators Probe Cause of Fatal Fire in St. Joseph

Fire investigators are pointing to an electrical outlet where an air conditioner was plugged in as the possible source of a house fire that has killed six people in St. Joseph.

Four children, a woman and her mother were killed. The woman’s husband has been hospitalized for smoke inhalation and minor burns. Firefighters say the house did not have any smoke alarms.
