More than 7,000 Missourians Could Benefit From Legal Settlement

July 17, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

About 7,300 Missourians are eligible for restitution from a legal settlement with Ameriquest Mortgage Company. Missouri is one of the states that had accused Ameriquest of predatory lending practices.

Missourians will split about $3.6-Million. Victims had deals with Ameriquest, Town and Country Credit Corporation, and AMC Mortgage Services – which used to be called Gedford Home Loans.

Those eligible for restitution did business with those companies from the beginning of 1999 to the end of 2005.
