Lottery Players Lining Up For Lucky 7 Combination

July 5, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

July 7th, 2007! For many Missourians, it’s just another day on the calendar. But for some Missourians who play the Missouri Lottery’s Pick 3 and Pick 4 game it’s a little more than just another day.

Shelly Perez with the Missouri Lottery says a lot of players are thinking there might be some magic to that lucky 7 combination of 7-7-7. Perez says there is always a concern that so many people will play a certain combination of numbers that the combination will "sell out," meaning it will have surpassed the amount of money the Missouri Lottery has available to pay out should the winning combination hit. A winning ticket in the Pick 3, for instance, will bring the winner $600 – and all winning tickets will pay that amount, regardless of the number of winning tickets sold.

So far, the 7-7-7 Pick 3 and 7-7-7-7 Pick 4 combinations have not sold out, but anyone wanting to play those numbers is urged to get a ticked as quickly as possible.
