Suspect in Convenience Store Clerk Murder Dies

July 4, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

The suspect in the murder of a convenience store clerk in suburban St. Louis has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. 25-year-old Juston Nelson of Valley Park shot himself on Monday as police officers closed in around him at the complex where he lived with his mother. Police say the evidence has convinced them that Nelson was the masked gunman who killed Kevin Henderson, the overnight clerk at the MotoMart in Pacific, on June 26th. Police says the weapon Nelson used on himself was the same weapon used to kill Henderson.
