Illinois Man Drops Fight Against Extradition

July 4, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

An Illinois man who had stubbornly fought extradition from Missouri to face murder charges back in his home state has now given up quietly and accepted his fate. The lawyer for Christopher Vaughn says his client simply changed his mind so he can be begin defending himself against charges that he murdered his family; a wife and three children found shot to death inside the family vehicle southwest of Chicago June 14th. The family moved from St. Charles to Illinois seven years ago and Vaughn was actually arrested in St. Charles just prior to a memorial service for the family.
