Missouri Native Hale Irwin Shoots For 3rd US Senior Open Championship

Joplin, Missouri native Hale Irwin is in Haven, Wisconsin this week preparing for the US Senior Open golf tournament at Whistling Straits.  Irwin, a 30 year player on the PGA tour is gunning for his 3rd US Senior Open Championship and 6th Open Championship overall.

The Tournament runs Thursday thru Sunday.  Alan Doyle is the two-time defending champion.
