Missouri’s Amber Alert law is changing.
Governor Blunt has signed the bill passed by the legislature that says Amber Alerts will apply only to those younger than 18. The bill codifies a program that started in January to locate missing or endangered persons.
Lawmakers say the bill brings Missouri’s alert programs into line with national standards and keeps state borders from hampering efforts to find missing or endangered children.
