Reopening of Taum Sauk Probe Could Cause Repair Delays

June 11, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

Electric utility Ameren says the reopning of the Taum Saunk reservoir collapse investigation will delay efforts to reach a final settlement with the state and delay rebuilding the power plant. And, it will delay restoring Johnson’s Shut-ins State Park.

Ameren says the Public Service Commission’s plan to reopen its investigation is based on an inaccurate and discredited report in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
