The Director of the Division of Workers’ Compensation at the State Department of Labor and Industrial Relations is leaving her job. The Missourinet has learned and an official with the Department has confirmed that Pat Secrest, who was appointed to the post by then-Governor-elect Matt Blunt in January of 2005, has submitted her resignation.
Department Public Information Administrator Tammy Cavender confirms Secrest is leaving as Director, but would not provide details as to the reasons for Secrest’s departure, saying it is a personnel matter.
Secrest served in the Missouri House from 1991-2003, representing part of St. Louis County. She will be replaced, on an interim basis, by Lucas Boling, the current Deputy Director of the Workers’ Compensation Division.
