The Saint Louis University Billikens men’s basketball team has a new coach. Rick Majerus will be announced, on Monday, as the new man calling the shots.
Majerus has amassed a 422-and-147 record as a head coach, taking his teams to the postseason 15 times. Most notably, Majerus coached at the University of Utah. Prior to his successful run with the Utes, Majerus coached at Ball State and at Marquette University – his alma mater. He’s also been an assistant coach in the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Since leaving Utah, Majerus has been an analyst for ESPN for the last three years.
The formal announcement is scheduled for Monday morning at SLU’s Busch Student Center.
