April 25, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

Senator Kit Bond makes no endorsement, but offers words of praise for Senator John McCain who has officially announced he is running for the White House next year. The Arizona Republican announced his candidacy on Wednesday in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Bond says of his fellow Republican, "John McCain has been a staunch supporter of our troops in Iraq." He adds, "Nobody has been a better spokesman for our military than a man who made great contributions and sacrifices for the United States in the Vietnam War."

Of McCain and others in the Republican field of candidates, Bond says, "There are a lot of fine candidates running and I wish John well, and all the other candidates."
