Appeals Court Ruling on Missouri Partial Birth Abortion Law to be Reconsidered

April 24, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

The United States Supreme Court has told the Federal Appeals Court in St. Louis to reconsider its ruling on Missouri’s partial birth abortion law.

The Supreme Court has upheld a ban on partial birth abortions. The Appeals Court in St. Louis struck down Missouir’s law in 2005. A spokesman for Attorney General Jay Nixon says Nixon will ask the court to vacate its ruling, which will allow the law to go into effect.
