Governor Matt Blunt (R-MO) is raising money like he’s going to run for re-election, though he hasn’t made anything official yet.
Blunt raised three million dollars the past six months, bringing his campaign war chest total to $4.5-Million. Blunt, a Republican, is expected to run for a second term in 2008.
Blunt’s top Democratic challenger, Attorney General Jay Nixon (D-MO), has raised $1.3-Million the past six months. He has a total of just under two million dollars in the bank.
