Drunk Driver in Fatal Crash Sentenced to Probation

April 10, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

A man who pleaded guilty to manslaughter in a Columbia drunk driving crash has been put on probation for five years, largely because the victim’s parents asked for leniency.

Adam Droesch’s best friend was killed in the crash. Droesch had three times the legal limit of alcohol in his bloodstream at the time.

The father of his friend says he does not hate Droesch and forgives him for what happened.
