Blunt Wants More Money for Need-Based Scholarships

March 24, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

More Missouri students would be eligible for need-based scholarships under a proposal put forward by Governor Mat Blunt.

During a visit to Missouri State University in Springfield, the Governor called for state funding for the higher education scholarship program to be increased from $27.5-Million to $72.5-Million. That would provide scholarships to an additional 19,000 Missourians.
