St. Louis Cardinals Manager Tony LaRussa faces a DUI charge in Florida. The Redbirds’ skipper was arrested and charged after he was found sleeping, at a green light, while behind the wheel of his Ford SUV not far from the team’s training facility in Jupiter.

Police say they became suspicious when the driver remained at the intersection through two cycles of green lights. They say LaRussa had his foot on the brake and did not respond to knocks on the window. When LaRussa awoke he parked the car. Police smelled alcohol and conducted a sobriety test.

He was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail, where his blood alcohol level was measured at .093%, slightly above Florida’s legal driving limit of .08%.
