Boy Is Dead From Gun Meant to Protect Against Southwest Missouri Fugitive

A 9 year-old boy from Roby in southwest Missouri is dead after being accidentally shot to death by his 13 year-old brother. The Texas County Coroner says the boy’s grandfather left a loaded rifle out because of the search for Neldon Neal that law enforcement has conducted for more than a week in the Mark Twain National Forest. Neal is a man charged with the murder of his wife.  He’s been on the run for the last week.
