Police Hunt for Suspect who Shot Two Officers

March 16, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

Police in southwestern Missouri are hunting for a man wanted for shooting two Neosho police officers early Friday morning. Officer Michael Sharp is hospitalized after being shot in the face. Sergeant Dan Cook was treated for a gunshot wound to the arm and released from the hospital.

Authorities say the trouble began when police pulled over Adam Bridgewater, who had warrants out for his arrest. Police say Bridgewater opened fire on the officers and fled after the two exchanged shots. Bridgewater was last seen driving red Chevy Trailblazer.
