Lady Bears End Disappointing Season

March 9, 2007 By admin Leave a Comment

Missouri State’s women’s basketball team wrapped up its worst season in 21 years with a thud in Des Moines, Iowa. The Lady Bears lost to Bradley 65-to-56 in the play-in round of the Missouri Valley Conference. Roxanne Stiles led the Lady Bears with 15 points. Tiff Terwelp added 12 points. It’s the third loss this season to Bradley. Bradley improves to 12-and-18 and advances into the conference tournament. Missouri State finishes the season 7-and-21, last in the Missouri Valley. It’s the worst record since the 1985-86 season, when the Lady Bears finished 6-and-21.
