Missouri has a new State Fair Director … and it’s an old State Fair Director.
Marion Lucas is coming out of retirement in Arizona to return to Missouri. He left Missouri after the 1986 fair to become Iowa’s State Fair Director. He retired in 2002. He ran the Missouri State Fair for the first time from 1981 through 1986. He’ll move into his office on April 1st.
Interim Fair Director Mike Riley says he’ll go back to being the off-season events director.
