Much like hockey in Kansas City, there won’t be any soccer in St. Louis. Not anytime soon at least. Real Salt Lake, the team owned by Blues owner Dave Checketts, of Major League Soccer received the stadium deal it was looking for in Utah. The agreement cancels St. Louis’ chances of getting the team.

On Thursday, the Utah House voted in favor of the funding package that will provide $35 million in hotel taxes for stadium land and infrastructure.
