When talking Mizzou wrestling, you might have heard of Ben and Maxwell Askren. But how often do you hear about Josh Wagner? I’m sure it?s very seldom, if at all. Well, the junior grappler is beginning to make a name for himself, after being named Big 12 Wrestler of the Week.
Wagner (149 pounds) picked up a huge win over second-ranked Matt Storniolo of Oklahoma, 10-4, Sunday afternoon. Wagner improved his record to 23-7 overall, 4-0 in the Big 12.
The Tigers hit the mat again Friday at home against Northern Iowa.
