Former Missouri cornerback Roger Wehrli was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It was the second time Wehrli made the finals, but this time the 40-member Selection Committee voted him in. The 2007 Hall class will also include former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin, Buffalo Bills running back Thurman Thomas, Houston Oilers offensive lineman Bruce Matthews, and two nominees of the veterans? committee ? tight end Charlie Sanders and guard Gene Hickerson.

Wehrli played for Mizzou from 1966-68 before being drafted in the first-round by the St. Louis Cardinals. He played his entire 14 year career with the Cardinals making the All-Pro team five times and named to the 1970?s All-Decade Team.

Wehrli?s biggest claim to fame is intercepting three passes by Roger Staubach in a win over Dallas.

?Something like this puts a cap on it,? Werhli said. ?It?s a dream come true.?

The Induction Ceremony will be Aug. 4-5 in Canton, Ohio.
