Whether the Blues win or lose tonight?s game at Detroit, it will be a memorable game for right winger Bill Guerin. The 15-year veteran will skate in his 1,000 career game.

?I?m pretty proud of it,? Guerin said of his career. ?Longevity in professional sports is a tough thing to come by? it?s one of those things that I?ve been fortunate enough to stay healthy, play on some great teams and have a lot of fun.?

Guerin has played on five teams throughout his career. He won a Stanley Cup with New Jersey in 1995 and played in four All-Star games, including this year?s edition. He broke into the NHL in 1992 with the Devils. His first game was a 4-4 tie against the Blackhawks.

Teammate Doug Weight played in his 1,000 career game earlier this season.
