The State Highway Patrol is investigating an accident involving a school bus and another vehicle on Highway 30 in Jefferson County. Patrol Corporal Julie Scerine says it happened around 8 o’clocl this morning as the kids were being taken to school. Two of the 26 children suffered what are described as moderate injuries and were taken to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County. The other students and the bus driver were taken to the same hospital where they have been treated for scrapes and bruises. The lone occupant of the other vehicle, the driver, was taken to St. Joseph Hospital of Kirkwood. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
