The Chiefs are leaving no stone unturned when it comes to improving their football team. Today, Kansas City is expected make a bold move with the signing of Ramiro Pruneda. The 6-foot-7, 320 pound Pruneda is Mexican-born and has never played football in the United States. Most of his career has been spent as a member of ITESM College located in his hometown of Monterrey, Mexico. Pruneda was scheduled to play in NFL Europe last year but tore his ACL in the first week of camp and missed the entire season.

Pruneda is considered a “long-shot” to make the Chiefs roster, but if he does make the active roster he will be just the second nonkicker from Mexico to play in an NFL game.
