No. 18 Missouri ran, jumped and sprinted their way past visiting Illinois 194.025-191.025 Friday night. Sophomore Adrianne Perry won the all-around with a mark of 39.150 and picked up three event titles in the process.

Mizzou disgarded their traditional black and gold colors for pink leotards as the Tigers teamed up with University of Missouri Healthcare Ellis Fischel Cancer Center to support breast cancer awareness and research. One dollar from every ticket sold went to breast cancer research.

Some Tigers felt the setting provided some much-needed home cooking.

“It’s great to be back at home because it’s so much easier to compete in front of a home crowd and on the equipment you’re used to,” said junior Julie Abaray, who finished second to Perry on the bars.

Mizzou goes to Norman, Oklahoma, next Friday to take on the No. 10 Sooners and Central Michigan. No. 7 Nebraska will come to the Hearnes Center for MU’s next scheduled home meet Jan. 26.
