Daimler-Chrysler to make new Minivans in Fenton

Daimler-Chrysler says it will start making the next generation of its minivan in Fenton this fall. Analysts say the announcement should end fears that the Fenton plant might close becuase of foreign minivan competition. Production of the minivans will start at a Canadian factory in July, and then in Fenton in September. The plant will close in May to be refitted with new robots for making cars.
