The Blues left for Denver late yesterday, but still might not be able to play against the Avalanche tonight. A heavy snow storm is expected to hit the Denver area which would make travel almost impossible.
NHL officials have considered canceling tonight’s game, but have since backed off after reports that the storm could lighten up before game time. The two teams are scheduled to meet again tomorrow in St. Louis, but if tonight’s game is cancelled, tomorrow’s game will be in doubt also.
