Tyler Chaney finished two assists shy of a triple-double, but it was good enough to provide Missouri State with a 81-69 win over South Florida Friday evening. Chaney’s 19 points, ten rebounds and eight assists helped the Bears improve to 10-2 on the season.

Four of Missouri State’s starters ended the game with ten or more points. Chaney and fellow guard Blake Ahearn combined to go six of 12 from beyond the 3-point arc.

The victory was the Bear’s sixth in seven games. The squad forced 22 South Florida turnovers and created ten steals.

Missouri State is in the middle of a four-game road trip. They will travel to Creighton next Saturday.
