The top-ranked Missouri wrestling team opens its home schedule tonight, squaring off against No. 24 Pittsburgh at Hearnes Center. The match gets underway at 7:00.
Tonight’s opener marks the fourth time this season a Tiger opponent has been ranked. The match is the first of six straight home duals.
Mizzou has nine wrestlers ranked in the top-25 in their respective weight classes, led by defending national champion Ben Askren at 174 pounds. His showdown with No. 2 Keith Gavin of the Panthers represents one of the season’s most highly anticipated matches.
