Like so many in their community, Chiefs players have not had much time to mourn the passing of team owner Lamar Hunt. His memorial service forced players to miss a day of practice Tuesday, and if that weren’t unfortunate enough, it comes during an already short week. KC is set to take on the rival Raiders Saturday night in the Black Hole.

KC is 7-7, and will need help to reach the playoffs. The Chiefs have seen postseason play just once in the last eight seasons, and their poor conference record (3-7) could prevent them from gaining entry as a wild card.
