Rams Rookie Hit With Lawsuit

December 19, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

A Manchester, Missouri, man has filed a civil suit against Rams rookie tight end Dominique Byrd.

The lawsuit alleges Byrd hit Jason DeRouchie in the face and forehead with a glass outside the Pepper Lounge December 4. Prosecutors say the attack came “without provocation or warning,” causing “serious, permanent and disfiguring” cuts.

The documents filed by DeRouchie seek compensation for medical expenses, lost income, pain and suffering, plus punitive damages.
