The lawyers for the man who has confessed to killing the little girl once known as Precious Doe wants the confession thrown out. A judge is expected to rule next month on whether the statement Harrell Johnson made to police in Oklahoma can be used as evidence. Precious Doe was really Erica Green, whose mother is Johnson’s wife. The girl’s headless body was found in Kansas City in 2001. The Johnsons were arrested in May of 2005. Johnson’s lawyer says the confession was improperly obtained.
