University of Missouri President Elson Floyd has been hired by Washington State University as its tenth president. Floyd will leave the University of Missouri despite a contract that continues through 2010. He’ll earn about 165-thousand dollars more a year at Washington State than he is paid at Missouri. Floyd has been the president of the University of Missouri since January 6, 2003.
