Valerie Hughes with the U.S. Postal Service in St. Louis says despite increases in the number of phone calls and e-mail greetings, there is no let up in the amount of cards, letters, and packages being sent. Next Monday is considered the busiest mailing day of the season, and the Postal Service is advising people to mail their holiday items by that day to ensure delivery in time for Christmas.
