Parents of a caregiver killed in the Anderson Guest House fire have filed the first lawsuit against the home’s owner and operator. Parents of Glen Taff have filed a wrongful death suit, charging the building’s owner and the group that ran the home with failing to fix bad wiring and failing to install a sprinkler system. Taff is one of ten people killed in the fire. His wife is in critical condition at a Springfield hospital with burns on 60 percent of her body. Investigators suspect faulty wiring as a cause but say they might never know for sure.
