A new charitable foundation has been started in Kansas City to continue the philanthropy of the Secret Santa. Lee’s Summit businessman Larry Stewart revealed his identity a few days ago because he has cancer and thinks this will be the last year he gives anonymous gifts of $100. But the Secret Santa Foundation Fund has been set up to take donations from other people to keep Stewart’s gifts going. He is helping set up an advisory committee that will suggest grants for various Kansas City nonprofit groups, which then will give money to poor families.
