Missourians who shivered in the dark this weekend will have endure the lack of electricity a little bit longer. Mike Cleary with AmerenUE, the state’s largest utility, says 171,000 Missouri customers are still without power – most of them in the St. Louis area, where 151,000 are without electricity. Cleary says most of the affected areas are those with a lot of trees, which fell onto power lines when the ice hit Thursday. He says it’s too early to tell when full power will be restored.
