Missouri is 5-0 for the first time in four seasons after beating Davidson 81-75. The Tigers ended their two-game losing streak to the Wildcats. Matt Lawrence hit six 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 22 points.
Two other Tigers scored in double-figures as Mizzou shot 44-percent from the field for the game. Stefhon Hannah chipped in with 20 points and six steals. Sophomore Leo Lyons had a breakout game with 18 and eight rebounds.
Mizzou led 34-31 at the half, but Davidson quickly erased that deficit with a 13-4 run to start the second half and take a 43-38 lead. The lead changed hands 12 times in the second half. But Missouri had the lead when the final buzzer went off to get the victory.
Mike Anderson is the first coach at Missouri to start his career 5-0, the first time a coach as done so since 1922.
