Final Numbers From Election Still Not In

It could be next week before we get the final numbers from Tuesday’s election. Some provisional ballots remain uncounted in St. Louis City and St. Louis County. A county election board spokesman says about 3,500 provisional ballots might not be verified and counted until next week. The verification and counting of about 540 provisional ballots in the city began on Wednesday. Provisional ballots are issued when there are questions about the registrations of people wanting to vote.
