Chiefs, Rams Bitten By Injury Bug

November 6, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

Chiefs offensive guard Brian Waters was carted off the field in the first quarter of a 31-17 win over the Rams Sunday. The All-Pro injured his right knee after teammate Larry Johnson rolled on it.

Waters was making his 79th consecutive start. He was replaced by Chris Bober on the line. Waters is scheduled for an MRI today.

The Rams failed to avoid the injury bug as well. Kickoff returner Tony Fisher sprained his right knee late in the first quarter.
