Quarterback Chase Daniel calls it “a title game.” Head Coach Gary Pinkel says it is a “great opportunity.” Fans, on the other hand, might just call it a must-win.

A possible Big 12 North Division Title is on the line when Mizzou takes on the Nebraska Cornhuskers tomorrow morning in Lincoln. The winner will take a huge step in securing a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

In order to achieve their goal, the Tigers will have to accomplish something they have not done since 1978. That is, beat the Huskers on the road. MU ended Nebraska’s national title hopes that year by winning in Lincoln 34-31.

Neither team will be crowned national champion this season, but each is looking at taking a big step in the right direction. Nebraska has not the Big 12 North Division since 1999. The Tigers do not know what that feels like. They are title-less since the formation of the Big 12.
