Missouri Volleyball Spiked By Cyclones

November 2, 2006 By admin Leave a Comment

Since beating then-No. five Texas back on Sept. 23, Missouri has played just .500 volleyball. They have five wins and five losses, but those five losses have come in the last six matches including three in a row. The latest defeat came at the hands of Iowa State in four games 27-30, 22-30, 30-24, 22-30. The Tigers had beaten the Cyclones in 19 straight matches.

Mizzou drops to fifth-place in the Big 12 Conference just a few weeks after battling Nebraska for a chance at the top spot. The Tigers next match is Saturday Nov. 4 against Colorado.
