The Blues had their two-game winning streak snapped losing to Phoenix 5-2. The loss was the first for St. Louis at home this season in the newly named Scottrade Center.
Owen Nolan, who has been out of hockey since the 2003-04 season, scored his first goal in two years. Nolan’s goal was one of three the Coyotes scored in the third period. Mike Comrie and Mike Zigomanis also scored goals in the decisive period.
The Blues received goals from Radek Dvorak and Martin Rucinsky.
