The Chiefs felt the need to add depth to its secondary after the loss of defensive back Benny Sapp, so the team signed Michael Bragg of the practice squad.

Terms of the agreement were not released.

Bragg, a second-year player from Texas A&M-Kingsville, first joined the Chiefs in Feb. and has been on the practice squad during the season so far. He broke into the league as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants.
